INDUSTRY UPDATE
The FAA is forecasting that the use of private jets
will triple over the next decade in response to the
introduction of inexpensive VLJs (Very Light Jets)
which will cost
as little as $1.5 million (as compared to $2.4 million
for the least expensive corporate jet currently
available). The Eclipse 500, the first of
the VLJs, is expected to be certified by the
FAA later this year. The FAA predicts that over
100 VLJs will be operating by the end of 2006
with over 5,000 in operation by 2017. It is expected
that point-to-point air taxi service will become
economically viable with this new class of aircraft.
Low price and shorter runway requirements are also
expected to open up general aviation to small
airports that couldn't handle larger jets in the past.
MARS Systems designed specifically for small airports
will be introduced next month so please stay tuned
as MSI helps you prepare for the coming take-off in
jet travel.

MARS MODULE DYNAMIC DUO
If the aircraft you are refueling is located some
distance away from your Jet Fuel Storage Tank, you
are a natural candidate for our MARS Dynamic Duo
consisting of our PFT (Pump & Filtration) Module
located next to the fuel tank and our RDS (Remote
Dispensing) Module located in immediate proximity to
the aircraft. Our PFT Module will offload transports
and recirculate fuel through filtration at flow rates up
to 200 USGPM. It will also transfer fuel to the RDS
Module at flowrates of 30 to 60 USGPM for overwing
refueling or up to 150 USGPM for underwing refueling.
Versatility, flexibility and scalability make MARS
Modules your best investment in fuel farm pumping
and dispensing systems.

CALIFORNIA DREAMING BECOMES REALITY
Over a year ago, Millennium Systems International
(MSI) successfully installed a major
MARS JP-5 Fueling System for the U.S. Coast Guard
Yard at San Diego. Since that time, things have
moved quickly as our MARS System has been
adopted by one engineering consultant after another
as the gold standard for aviation fueling systems.
MSI has been specified for the new Anaheim Police
Department's Aviation Support Facility at Fullerton
Municipal Airport. Two MARS PFT (Pump & Filtration)
Modules will supply filtered Jet Fuel to two RDS
(Remote Dispensing Modules) which will be recessed
into the pavement to insure tail rotor clearance.
MSI has also been specified by the California
Department of General Services for CHPS (California
Highway Patrol) Helicopter Refueling Systems
throughout the state. The first MARS installation will
be at Fresno late this summer with a second
installation scheduled for Napa, California shortly
thereafter. Each site consists of our PFT Module
installed near the storage tank with an RDS Dispenser
Module located remotely.
Several other new MARS sites are currently under
negotiation with orders expected within the next 30-
45 days. MSI is proud to partner with EAR
Management of Riverside, CA as our authorized MARS
System installer for California, Arizona and Nevada.

BALTIMORE MARINA GOES AIRBORNE
Baltimore Marine Center recently took delivery of a
new MARS PFT (Pump & Filtration)/TLO (Truck
Loading Module) at its new Clinton St. marina facility.
Designed to offload transports at 200 USGPM and to
bottom load a refueler truck
or trailer at flowrates up to 100 USGPM, Baltimore
Marina's new Jet Fuel System
will allow the marina to support a wide range of
helicopter traffic between Baltimore's
upscale Inner Harbor and downtown Manhattan and
Atlantic City, N.J. Even local
emrergency helicopter services are vying for landing
rights to take on fuel from
the marina's convenient downtown location.
The next time you cruise into Baltimore's Inner Harbor
rest assured you can make
that appointment with a craps table in Atlantic City
as long as you book your flight with Baltimore Marine
Center.
